You will have access to your online learning portal including resources from the Academic Resource Centre. Before Workshop 1 we will invite you to undertake reading, reflection and online learning; this will require around 3-5 hours of study time.
Workshop 1 – Self-awareness as a coach
This workshop explores your personal skills and attributes, and your beliefs and values around coaching. A basic framework for coaching is introduced.
Workshop 2 – Tools and techniques
This workshop enables you to try out different tools and techniques and understand the underpinning psychological concepts. Carry out your first external client session (either with your own clients or let us arrange the client for you).
Workshop 3 – Integration
This workshop continues the development of coaching competences, provides opportunities for observed sessions with feedback, and the opportunity to integrate the materials into
a coherent approach.
The programme continues with supervision, support and coaching skills development. In addition participants will have access to all the resources of the Henley Centre for Coaching, including online coaching journals, webinars from leading coaching figures from across the world and resources to help set up your coaching business.
Optional online sessions
Coaching supervision forms an integral part of the programme through the 9 months of study and participants will have access to regular online mentoring and supervision sessions during the latter 6 months of the programme (included within the programme fees).
Composition and assessment
The Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching comprises of 3 workshops and a subsequent practice period with supervision support. At the end of this period assessment is through a portfolio which includes a 2,000 word reflection on your development as a coach and a recorded coaching session demonstrating your coaching skills.
Duration and composition
Typically 9 months, with 7 days of workshops over 3 months plus 6 months of coach mentoring, coaching practice, reflection and coaching supervision.

In every intake, your learning will be supported by two expert coaches with extensive coaching experience, including:
Tracy is a Visiting Tutor on the Professional Certificate in
Coaching. She is a practising Chartered Business Psychologist
with twenty years’ consultancy experience, specialising in
leadership development, executive coaching, team coaching,
coaching skills development and coaching supervision.
She is a Henley-accredited coach, and has her own coaching practice as well as working as an Associate Coach on Henley leadership programmes. When coaching, she draws on a range of techniques including cognitive behavioural, performance, solution-focused and goal-focused coaching.
Tracy is also a Coaching Supervisor, having completed a postgraduate
certificate in Coaching Supervision from Oxford Brookes University.
She is a Supervisor for the Henley Masters in Coaching & Behavioural
Change and for the Henley Coaching Forums.
Ann is a visiting tutor for the Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching and regularly coaches individuals on Henley’s corporate, qualification and leadership programmes. She is a coaching
supervisor for coaches who work with Henley’s clients, and has her own coaching and supervision practice. Ann completed the Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching in 2006 and the MSc
in Coaching & Behavioural Change in 2012.
Her MSc research furthered her interest in the area of neuroscience, particularly how a basic understanding of brain functions can inform our work as coaches. Ann has completed the NLP Practitioner qualification and specialist training to use Systemic Constellations and Time To ThinkTM as part of her coaching practice.
As a coaching supervisor, she is an accredited Coaching SignaturesTM practitioner and
has completed the Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching Supervision. She is a member of the Association for Coaching (AC) and the Henley Centre for Coaching.
Ragna works as coach and supports other human beings to become aware that the solution to any challenge is within themselves. She brings coaching and reflection to people as well as to organisations, catalysing their self-development. Having worked over 20 years as a leading professional in Investor Relations, she realised that raising questions is sometimes more helpful and supportive then knowing the answer
Ragna holds a degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland as well as two coaching certificates, including the Professional Certificate in
Coaching of Henley. Having worked with and learned from experienced
people in the field of coaching and systemic work since 2008, she has
delivered a variety of programmes and has been part of the Henley team
Experiencing the value of authenticity, respect and appreciation became a
core driver for her, supporting to find consensus instead of compromise.
As coach, educator and leader, Felix supports people in reaching
their goals using goal-oriented behaviour. He does this both at
Henley Business School Germany and as an independent
Felix studied Business at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland
(lic.oec.HSG) and The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in the
United States (MBA) as well as Coaching & Behavioural Change at Henley Business School in the UK (MSc).
His coaching work focuses on Executive Coaching for Knowledge Workers
and Career Coaching for Mid-Career Managers. He is an educator on selfawareness and self-leadership in the Executive MBA, the Business Insights
Programmes and the Coaching Programme at Henley Business School
Germany. He has more than twenty years of experience as leader in
international organizations; currently, he is Managing Director of Henley
Business School Germany in Munich. He works in English, German and
French and regularly speaks and publishes on coaching and self-leadership
